Focus Bug tweaks
Hi there , Ive just received my system so I’m still very new to it , spent the day learning it and I found the bug to be sending different distance readings every time it didn’t face directly to camera. If the bug slightly turned direction the readings would be vastly different ? Is there something I’m missing ?

Hi Brendan. If the "This Side To Camera" sticker is facing away from the Base Sensor, then readings will jump. The line of sight relationship is between the small ultrasonic transducer on the BUG that sends and the receiving horn on the Base. Of course, the BUG can be off-axis to a fairly large degree, but over 90 degrees all bets are off. Other factors will play into this such as distance and density of coverage over the BUG. If you go into Limits and select the BUG Dynamic Limit option you can also set a zone around the BUG, which helps in instances where the BUG may be momentarily too off-axis.
